There are so many fall festivals happening in the North Georgia mountains, but we want to introduce you to some fall festivals that are perfect if you love good food. 

Taste of Woodstock
Thursday, September 12

Taste of Woodstock will feature 24 local eateries that you can exchange tickets for tastes of food. The event will be located at the beautiful Woodstock Arts Event Green in Downtown Woodstock. Cash will not be accepted at the tasting tents, only tickets, which you can purchase at the ticket booths located at the entrances along Market, Elm and Oak Streets. Tickets cost $1 each and packages start at $5. Tastings will range from $1-4. Not only will you get to taste food from great local restaurants like Rootstock and Primo's Pizza and Italian Kitchen, but you will get to vote for best appetizer, best entree, best dessert, and people's choice award. There will also be live music at the event.

The 13th Annual Blue Ridge Blues & BBQ Festival
Saturday, September 21

The Blue Ridge Blues & BBQ Festival will include over 15 BBQ pit masters and local vendors serving up incredible eats in Downtown Blue Ridge. Also, new for this year is "The Market," this area will feature 10 vendors of BBQ and food related items. There will be sauces, rubs, custom cutting boards and much more. There are also some "pre-events" that guest can enjoy. Gates open at 11:30am. Admission for this event is $10, 12 and under are free.

Taste of Canton
Thursday, September 26

Similar to the Taste of Woodstock, Taste of Canton will host 20+ Canton restaurateurs sharing their unique cuisine with the community. You will be able to sample delicious appetizers, entrees, coffees, and desserts from Canton's extraordinary chefs and eateries. Located at The Mill on Etowah, there will be live music, cash bar cocktails and beer.

Ellijay Bacon Fest
Sunday, September 29

Ellijay Bacon Fest is for all those who love bacon! This delicious event also gives local restaurants, chefs, artists, and businesses exposure and an opportunity to give back to the community. More than 17 food vendors will be on site serving up delicious food. There is even a bacon eating contest. Admission is free for this event, but there is a $10 per vehicle parking fee.
