WHERE TO WATCH FIREWORKS IN CANTON , GA THIS JULY 4TH
Canton turns into a small-town celebration on Independence Day, packed with parades, floats, and fireworks. Here’s your guide to enjoying the best of the festivities!
1. Downtown Canton Parade & Fireworks
What to Expect:
Patriotic Parade kicks off at 6:00 PM on East Main Street in historic Downtown Canton.
Fireworks light up the sky at dusk (usually around 9:00 pm .), launching from the Riverstone Parkway/Publix shopping area.
Best Viewing Spots:
Along East Main Street—for an up-close parade experience.
Riverstone Parkway, Riverstone Corner Bistro patio, Riverstone Village lots, or Etowah River Park—for fireworks with a view.
2. Float on the Fourth + Brews
Start your day on the water!
Float on the Fourth: Tubing or kayaking down the Etowah River with Murph’s Surf, The Mill, and Reformation Brewery—complete with a patriotic t-shirt and beverages.
Follow up with evening fireworks in town—it’s the best of both worlds!
